Jasprit Bumrah completed the most three-plus wickets in the history of the IPL

Riding on Tilak Varma's sensational catch in the outfield, Jasprit Bumrah dismissed GT's well-set batter Sai Sudharsan in MI's IPL 2024 opener at Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad. Bumrah, who earlier dismissed Wriddhiman Saha and David Miller, thus completed his three-wicket haul in the game.
Jasprit Bumrah has now taken the most 3+ wicket hauls in IPL history.
Most 3+ wickets in IPL history:
Jasprit Bumrah, 20
Yuzvendra Chahal, 19
Lasith Malinga, 19
Bumrah had a fabulous start to the over, dismissing Miller on his very first delivery. After conceding a single on his second ball, the express pacer dismissed Sudharsan off the third ball, thanks to a magnificent catch from Varma.
It was a full-length delivery from Bumrah, as Sudharsan flicked it aerially in the leg. While the ball was traveling fast towards the fence, Varma judged its trajectory nicely, holding on to a forward diving catch.
As expected, Bumrah showcased his bowling brilliance, finishing his spell with incredible figures of three for 14. As of writing, the Titans were 161 for six, with Vijay Shankar batting on 3* at one end.
