Kiwi pacer Kyle Jamieson is out for a prolonged spell because of a stress fracture and is set to miss the upcoming Australia series

On Saturday, New Zealand cricket announced that fast bowler Kyle Jamieson has been ruled out for the rest of the season after scans revealed a stress fracture in his back.
The 29-year-old is not expected to play again until next summer, which means that he will miss the two-test series between New Zealand and Australia when it starts later this month.
Jamieson said, “The last few days have been some of my most challenging, but I am hugely grateful for the support I’ve received from my partner, family, teammates, support staff, and medical professionals.”
“I know injuries are part of life as a cricketer, and at my age, I am hopeful I still have many more playing days ahead of me.”
Kyle Jamieson, who is the fast bowler for New Zealand, complained of back pain after the victory of his team over South Africa in their first test earlier this month and did not play in the second test.
On Friday, the Black Caps won in Hamiltoin by seven wickets to complete a series victory.
