Rain prompted the game to be postponed to the reserve day; it originally started on Sunday. India started play on Monday at 147 for 2 in 24.1 overs, Kohli and Rahul continuing to rule. India reached a challenging total thanks to Kohli's 122 not out and Rahul's unbeaten 111. Kuldeep came back with a 5 for 25 record only if India's game-long dominance was lacking anything.
