KS Bharat, not excited by England’s rookie spin attack, says, ‘We play the ball’
And what could be more exciting than England deploying two spinners with a combined international experience of one match? However, KS Bharat is not very excited by that fact. Instead, the Indian wicketkeeper says, playing the ball is the focus.
KS Bharat said at the pre-match press conference ahead of the IND vs. ENG 2nd Test in Vizag, “We don’t play the bowlers; we play the ball. On any given day, it can be experienced or inexperienced (bowler); there is nothing like being inexperienced in cricket. On that particular day, if someone bowls well, you have to give credit to them.”
England have received a further blow, with Jack Leach missing out with a knee injury. Shoaib Bashir, who has only played six first-class matches, will make his Test debut on Friday. Tom Hartley is the other one who made his Test debut in the last game. Joe Root is the third spinner, but he is only a part-timer.
India fell 28 runs short in the first Test as debutant Tom Hartley bagged seven wickets in the 2nd inning.
