Legendary Indian spinner Harbhajan Singh wants batter to 'make the most of his chance'

Legendary spinner of Indian Cricket Team Harbhajan Singh has offered a word of caution to Sarfaraz Khan, saying he will have to make the most of his maiden Test call-up in the absence of Virat Kohli. Sarfaraz earned his maiden Test call-up ahead of India’s second Test against England in Vizag.

Speaking on his Youtube video, Harbhajan said Sarfaraz will have to make the most of his opportunity since Kohli will return for the third Test. Kohli announced that he would be skipping the first two matches of India’s series against England for personal reasons.

Bhaji said, “Sarfaraz Khan will have to make the most of this chance because when Virat Kohli returns, someone will have to go out. So, he cannot afford to waste this opportunity. He has worked very hard and piled up a lot of runs in domestic cricket.”

Lately, Sarfaraz has been in great form, smashing a phenomenal century against the England Lions in a tour game for India A. The 26-year-old, who has a first-class average of 69.85, scored 161 runs and was adjudged the ‘Player of the Match’ as India A beat England Lions by an innings and 16 runs in Ahmedabad.
