LSG defeated the Gujarat Titans by 33 runs in the IPL 2024
Lucknow Super Giants picked up a 33-run win over Gujarat Titans as they bundled out GT at 130 runs only at the Ekana Stadium, Lucknow, on Sunday.
LSG registered a total of 163 for the loss of 5 wickets in 20 overs before successfully defending it by wrapping up the GT innings for a paltry 130 runs in 18.5 overs as Yash Thakur starred with five wickets to his name. Krunal Pandya dismissed three batters, while Ravi Bishnoi and Naveen-ul-Haq picked up a wicket each.
The captain of LSG KL Rahul won the toss and chosen to bat first against Shubman Gill’s GT. Marcus Stoinis smashed 58 from 43 balls as KL Rahul (33) and Nicholas Pooran (32 not out) chipped in to help the Lucknow Super Giants post 162/5 from their 20 overs against the Gujarat Titans.
