Members of Team Pakistan Down with Viral Infection Claim Reports
The Babar Azam-led Pakistan cricket team is very crucial at the ODI Cricket World Cup 2023. After starting the tournament with two victories, the star-studded team faced a big loss against the Rohit Sharma-led Indian cricket team at the Narendra Modi stadium in Ahmedabad on Saturday. The Pakistan cricket team is going to face Australia in the next match in Bengaluru, but before that, many of the reports claim that the Pakistan cricket team members are down with viral fever.
However, a spokesperson of the Pakistan Cricket Board has been quoted by at least two Pakistani media outlets as saying that it was not a case of viral infection and that the players are recovering.
The PCB spokesperson said, "Thankfully, there is no viral infection or disease. Those who are in the stage of recovery remain under the team medical panel's observation."
A Pakistan media manager said: "Some players got fever in the past few days, and most of them have fully recovered from it. Those who are in the stage of recovery remain under the team medical panel's observation."
