A brilliant century smashed by Yashasvi Jaiswal guided his team towards victory as Rajasthan Royals beat Mumbai Indians by nine wickets in their IPL 2024 match. While chasing the target of 180 runs, RR never looked in trouble as Jaiswal was helped brilliantly by Jos Buttler and Sanju Samson. Following a rain interruption, RR completed the chase with eight balls to spare. Regaining his form, opener Jaiswal finished as RR's top-scorer with 104 off 60 balls.
Earlier, Sandeep Sharma took his first five-wicket haul in the IPL to restrict MI to 179/9 in 20 overs. Tilak Varma was the top scorer for MI with 65 while Nehal Wadhera scored a quickfire 49.
