The all-rounder of the Chennai Super Kings, Moeen Ali, has spoken highly of his captain, MS Dhoni, crediting his leadership for the team’s recent success in the Indian Premier League.
Speaking about his experience playing under the MS Dhoni captaincy, Moeen Ali, who has been instrumental in CSK’s recent IPL victories in 2021 and 2023, shared his admiration for the legendary wicketkeeper batter.
Moeen Ali said, “Everyone knows that MS Dhoni is a special player and a special captain.“ He’s a good guy and a brilliant strategist. You never know what he’s going to come up with next, which keeps things exciting as a player. You’re always guessing what role he has in mind for you.”
Moeen Ali emphasized the unwavering confidence that Dhoni instils in his team. “When you are playing for CSK with MS Dhoni as the captain, it doesn’t matter how strong the team on paper looks,” he explained. “With him at the helm, you always have a chance of winning.”
