No Pakistani star Babar Azam among 60 Pakistani players; Williamson and Warner join in

Ahead of the July 23 start, as many as 60 Pakistani players are in the Hundred 2024 draft. However, former Pakistani captain Babar Azam is not among the players to join the Hundred Bandwagon. Among bing names, Kane Williamson and David Warner have joined the Hundred bandwagon. A total of 389 overseas players registered for the Hundred draft, and the teams will make their picks on March 20.
Apart from Babar Azam, the fast bowlers of team Pakistan, Haris Rauf and Shaheen Shah, are also notable players missing. Mohammad Rizwan, too, has given it a miss.
It is unlikely that Babar Azam will get an NOC (No Objection Certificate) from the Pakistan Cricket Board. Last season, Babar was on the draft, but he was unpicked due to a lack of clarity on his NOC.
Among the top players from Pakistan, Fakhar Zaman, Naseem Shah, and Shadab Khan are in the draft.
