After deciding to bat first, Australia put up 253 on the board in the first inning. India were bowled out for 174 runs. Despite a strong start by Harry Dixon and Hugh Weibgen, Uday Saharan and co. continued to chip away. Harjas Singh scored a gritty 55, and Oliver Peake’s 46* helped them stay in the U19 World Cup Final. For India, Raj Limbani was the standout, picking up three wickets while giving away just 38 runs.
