Pakistan’s very own ‘Dharamshala’ stadium as PCB made its latest attempt to make PSL wannabe IPL

In its latest attempt to bring the Pakistan Super League to the level of the IPL, the PCB has decided to install floodlights at the stadium in Quetta. The stadium in Quetta, placed at a high altitude, is similar to that of India’s Dharamshala stadium, which has hosted many international as well as IPL games so far. The installation of floodlights in the stadium at Quetta will pave the way for the PCB to organise PSL matches at the venue, bringing more popularity to the league with a touch of scenery.

“PCB will fulfil its promise to install floodlights by September. PSL matches will also be arranged in Quetta after making the stadium up to the mark,” said Naqvi, who is also chairman of the Pakistan Cricket Board.

“The holding of the Pakistan Super League matches in Quetta is being mulled over,” he said while addressing a press conference during his visit to Nawab Akbar Khan Bugti Cricket Stadium.

The PCB also seems to have finally woken up from a slumber to allow its franchises in the PSL to sign one big player each outside the draft, as per reports.
