Pant, who displays a full range of shots at the Delhi Capitals nets, puts all injury worries to rest

On Thursday, the Delhi Capitals’ Rishabh Pant hit the nets for the second time to prepare for the upcoming IPL 2024. The Delhi Capitals posted a video of Pant’s batting preparation on X, where the southpaw can be seen practicing a range of shots. Pant seems to be at ease while batting, with no signs of injuries that he has been dealing with for the past year.
Rishabh Pant has been out of competitive cricket since December 2022 after being involved in a horrific car accident in Uttarakhand. Pant has been undergoing treatment and has been planning his comeback to cricket in IPL 2024. The National Cricket Academy (NCA) gave a fit certificate to Pant recently. The Delhi Capitals captain joined the DC camp after receiving the fitness certificate.

Apart from his signature shot over long on, Pant can also be seen playing sweeps and reverse sweeps. Questions remained about the batter’s fitness ahead of the start of IPL 2024, but seeing Pant bat can put those questions to bed.
