Pat Cummins is wary of the Babar Azam and Mohammad Rizwan threats in AUS vs. PAK
The Australia cricket team is ready to take on Pakistan in their fourth group stage of the ODI World Cup 2023. They will be hunting two wins in a row after breaking the shackles against Sri Lanka in the last match.
Australia will be up against Babar Azam-led Pakistan, who will look to shake off their defeat vs. India. Speaking before the match in Bengaluru, Australia captain Pat Cummins said that they are wary of the threat that Pakistan brings.
Cummins said, "They're a side that always seems to be right up there. Pretty well structured, I think, across, you know, some really good quick bowlers who can do some damage, some spin bowlers that can bowl 20 of their overs plus. And then they've got, you know, I think Rizwan's the leading run scorer, Babar Azam's always good, and a couple of other batters that have scored a lot in ODIs lately. So, they're a really strong side pretty much in all facets.”
