Rain forced the Rajasthan Royals and Kolkata Knight Riders game at the Barsapara Cricket Stadium in Guwahati to be called off. After a delay of around three hours and thirty minutes, KKR captain Shreyas Iyer won the toss and chose to bowl first, resulting in the match being reduced to seven overs each side. Not long after, the rain came back, forcing the match to be canceled. Due to the no-result, RR ended up in third place in the points table and will play Royal Challengers Bengaluru in the IPL 2024 playoffs as an Eliminator. Conversely, SunRisers Hyderabad will play KKR in the qualifier.
