Ravindra Jadeja says, It is in destiny that he will get it in my hometown

The all-rounder of team India, Ravindra Jadeja, said he is happy that R. Ashwin would be able to complete his incredible landmark of 500 Test wickets in his hometown, Rajkot, the venue of the 3rd Test between India and England. Speaking to the press on the eve of the crunch contest, the local hero heaped rich praise on his spin twin, playing down concerns about his form.
R. Ashwin went wicketless in the first innings of the Vizag Test, but the off-spinner seemed to have found his mojo back with a decisive 3-wicket haul in the second innings as India registered a 106-run win to level the series at 1-1.
R Ashwin will be hoping to get to the milestone of 500 Test wickets and hit peak form soon as India need their spin twins to be in full tilt in Rajkot, which is expected to be a good pitch for batters, at least for the first two days of the Test.
“He (Ashwin) will take it here; nothing to worry. I am very happy for him; I have been playing with him for years,” Jadeja said, backing the off-spinner to get to 500 in Rajkot.
I thought he would get it in the first test match, but it’s okay. It is destiny that he will get it here in my hometown,” Jadeja added.
