Ravindra Jadeja has joined Saurashtra’s training camp ahead of their upcoming Ranji Trophy match against Delhi on January 23, 2025. The all-rounder, who last played in the IND vs AUS Test series, is expected to make his return to do”estic cricket after being directed by the BCCI to participate in these tournaments during the international break.
Jadeja trained with the Saurashtra team on Sunday morning and is likely to feature in the match at Ground C near Niranjan Shah Stadium in Rajkot. Although the Saurashtra Cricket Association (SCA) has yet to officially confirm his participation, reports suggest that he will play, given his commitment to domestic duties. Jadeja last appeared in the Ranji Trophy in 2023 when he captained Saurashtra against Tamil Nadu.
He has been named in India’s squad for the ICC Champions Trophy 2025 and aims to regain form after a challenging series in Australia. Meanwhile, ViratKohli will miss this match due to a neck strain sustained during the Border-Gavaskar Trophy, while KL Rahul is sidelined with an elbow injury.
