Rest of India Squad Announced for ZR Irani Cup 2024
The Board of Control for Cricket in India has named the Rest of India squad for the upcoming ZR Irani Cup 2024 against Mumbai, the reigning Ranji Trophy champions. RuturajGaikwad will lead the team, while Ishan Kishan, DhruvJurel, and YashDayal have also been included in the 15-member squad.
The ZR Irani Cup is a prestigious first-class cricket tournament in India, featuring the Ranji Trophy winners against a team representing the rest of the country. The match will be played from September 30th onwards.
Gaikwad, who recently led India A to victory in the Emerging Cup, will look to guide ROI to their 31stIrani Cup title. The squad boasts a mix of experienced players and rising stars, with the likes of Abhimanyu Easwaran, Sarfaraz Khan, and JaydevUnadkat adding depth to the team.
