Rohit Sharma and Shreyas Iyer guide India to beat Pakistan by 7 wickets

The India cricket team registered their third consecutive victory by defeating Pakistan by 7 wickets in the ICC men's ODI World Cup 2023 at Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad earlier in the tournament. India defeated Australia and Afghanistan. Bharat Pakistan won against the Netherlands and Sri Lanka. Pakistan cricket team got bundle doubt at 10 score of 191 runs after in-form Mohammad Rizwan 49 off 69 balls and Babar Azam 50 off 58 balls provided stability with an 82-run partnership. However, after Babar’s wicket, other players could not only add 36 runs as Indian bowlers ran through Pakistan’s batting. Jasprit Bumrah (7-1-19-2) and Kuldeep Yadav (10-0-35-2) took wickets at the crucial juncture in the game to restrict Pakistan below 200 runs.
In return, the India cricket team chased down the target with 117 balls remaining on the back of Rohit Sharma’s 84 runs off 63 balls that included six sixes and six fours and Shreyas Iyer’s 53 runs on 62 balls. India replaces New Zealand to sit in the number one position after winning all three matches that it has played so far in the tournament.
