The Indian cricket team will be eyeing making history when they face Australia in the Cricket World Cup final at Narendra Modi Stadium, Ahmedabad, on November 19. Before the match, Indian captain Rohit Sharma gave a big update on whether spinner Ravichandran Ashwin would get a chance in the IND vs. AUS final or not.
In the pre-match conference, the captain of the Indian cricket team, Rohit Sharma, said, There is an opportunity for all 15 to play. We will access the pitch and conditions today and tomorrow. The 12–13 men are ready, but the playing XI is not set, and I want all 15 to be available for the match.”
It is to be noted that Ashwin was part of Team India’s opening game against Australia on October 8 but hasn’t played a game in the tournament since then.
