Rohit Sharma led Team India fly off to Trivandrum for their next World Cup warm-up match against the Netherlands.

Rohit Sharma-led Team India is flying off to Trivandrum for their upcoming World Cup warm-up match against the Netherlands, which is scheduled for Tuesday, October 3rd, at the Greenfield Stadium in Trivandrum. Unfortunately, both teams’ previous warm-up matches were affected by rain on Saturday.
The warm-up match between India and England had to be called off without a single ball being bowled, whereas the Netherlands’ warm-up match against Australia was also disrupted by rain during the second innings. On Sunday, the Indian team departed from Guwahati airport en route to Trivandrum.
During the initial warm-up match against England, the captain of the Indian cricket team, Rohit Sharma, won the toss and decided to bat first. However, shortly after the toss, heavy rainfall began at Barsapara Stadium in Guwahati. The city was enveloped by dark clouds, and as a result, the match had to be abandoned.
Although the first warm-up match was washed out, this upcoming IND vs. NED warm-up match will act as a preview for the main tournament, where India is scheduled to start its campaign against Australia on October 8th.
