Statement of Robin Minz's father on his son being acquired by the Gujarat Titans in the IPL 2024
Uncapped cricketer from Jharkhand Robin Minz, picked up by the Gujarat Titans for Rs. 3.6 crore, stole the limelight in the Indian Premier League 2024 mini-auction in Dubai on Tuesday. His father, Francis Xavier, who is an ex-army man working in the department of security at Ranchi Airport, expressed his excitement about the focus of Robin during practice, noting that he was the first coach for Robin.
Robin's father, Francis, expressed his happiness while saying that it feels like his son has reached the moon from Earth. Robin Minz's father said, "I'm feeling very proud. It's hard to describe emotions. It feels as if he has reached the moon from Earth. Jharkhand is known for MS Dhoni. Dhoni is Robin's idol. And it is difficult to find a player, and a man like MS Dhoni Dhoni is also my idol."
Robin, a tribal cricketer from Jharkhand, has yet to make his professional cricket debut. He has established a name for himself in local T20 events with his lightning-quick strikes.
