Statement of Virat Kohli on Nearing Sachin Tendulkar's ODI Centuries Record
Former captain of Team India Virat Kohli has played a huge role in the unbeaten run of the Men in Blue during the ODI World Cup 2023 so far. Chase-master Kohli has been at his best, pacing his knocks according to the situations of the game and helping team India pull off remarkable comeback victories against the likes of Australia, Bangladesh, and New Zealand, among others.
The Master Blaster Sachin Tendulkar smashed 49 ODI centuries during his playing days as he recorded a tally of 100 tons across all formats, while Virat has brought up 48 centuries in ODIs.

Looking back on his career, Kohli reflected that he had never imagined that he would score so many hundreds during his 12-year career.
Virat said, “If we talk about cricket, I had never thought of achieving all, as in where my career is and how God has blessed me with such a career span and performances.”.
