Sunil Gavaskar says, "Kuldeep Yadav has shown that he can make a difference"
The legendary cricketer of team India, Sunil Gavaskar, has praised Kuldeep Yadav, who has been in brilliant form for team India in the Asia Cup 2023. Kuldeep is currently the leading wicket-taker for the Men in Blue in the ongoing tournament, as he has picked up nine wickets from four matches at an economy rate of 3.70.
He also picked up a five-wicket haul and helped India secure their biggest ODI victory over arch-rivals Pakistan at the R. Premadasa Stadium in Colombo.
In an interview, Gavaskar said, "Kuldeep has shown that he can make a difference. Wrist spin, whether it is right-arm or left-arm, can get you wickets. And wickets are the best dot balls in limited-overs cricket. Also, the fact that he is bowling a little flatter, not giving that much air, and getting the ball to spin, makes him difficult to play."
Gavaskar said that the Indian batsman should use their feet to good effect and force Wellalage into altering his length.
