Suresh Raina fires back in a playful jab at a Pakistani journalist ahead of the T20 World Cup

Former cricketer of Indian Cricket Team Suresh Raina gave a befitting reply to a Pakistani journalist who was trying to mock him on the social media platform. While tagging Raina in a post on social media, a journalist took a dig at Suresh Raina over ShahidAfridi being named as ambassador for the T20 World Cup 2024.
In response to this week, Suresh Raina returned the favour to the journalist by reminding him that they were the winners of the 2011 World Cup while adding more salt to the wound. Raina specifically reminded the journalist of his knock against Pakistan in Mohali, hoping that it brought back ‘unforgettable memories’ for Pakistan fans.
This friendly banter between Raina and the Pakistani journalist comes a few days ahead of the much-awaited class between India and Pakistan on June 9. The arch-rivals will lock horns in the group stage match of the T20 World Cup in New York. In 2011, in the game against Pakistan in Mohali, Suresh Raina played a memorable 36-run knockoff with 39 deliveries, guiding India to a formidable total at the end of the 1st inning. India went on to win the game by 29 runs, with Raina’s knock making the difference for the Men in Blue.
