Team India beats Sri Lanka by 10 Wickets in the finals of the Asia Cup 2023 as they win their 8th Asia Cup title

India captain Rohit Sharma gave a chance to Ishan Kishan to open the batting as India defeated Sri Lanka in the finals of the Asia Cup 2023. The duo of Shubman Gill and Ishan Kishan have started the 51-run chase for India in the Asia Cup final against Sri Lanka in Colombo. Earlier, Mohammed Siraj bowled a terrific six-wicket spell as India bundled out Sri Lanka for 50 runs.
Siraj took his first five wickets in only 16 balls, which is also the joint-fastest in the history of ODI cricket. He later took one more wicket. Jasprit Bumrah landed the first blow before Siraj took over and didn't let the opponents settle down. Hardik Pandya then claimed the last three Sri Lankan wickets. The play had a delayed start because of rain after Sri Lanka Captain Dasun Shanaka won the toss and decided to bat first against Team India.
