Team India will Leave for Dubai on 15th February for Champions Trophy

The ICC Champions Trophy 2025 is set to begin on February 19, marking its return after an eight-year hiatus. The tournament will be hosted in Pakistan and the UAE, with India playing all its matches in Dubai due to security concerns. The tournament will run from February 19 to March 9.

India, a two-time winner of the Champions Trophy (2002 and 2013), will be aiming for a third title under the captaincy of Rohit Sharma. The team will be looking to improve after losing to Pakistan in the final of the last edition.

India is placed in Group A along with Pakistan, Bangladesh, and New Zealand. Group B consists of Afghanistan, Australia, England, and South Africa. The top two teams from each group will advance to the semi-finals. India’s group stage fixtures are scheduled for February 20 against Bangladesh, February 23 against Pakistan, and March 2 against New Zealand, all in Dubai.
