The BPL contract of Shoaib Malik was terminated over suspicion of match fixing
The contract of Shoaib Malik of the Bangladesh Premier League has been terminated by Fortune Barishal over suspicion of match-fixing. He bowled three no-balls in a game and was under the scanner. He is in the news for his third marriage with Sana Javed, who is one of the leading actors in Pakistan.
In an official statement, Fortune Barishal confirmed that Malik will take no further part in the remaining games of the ongoing season.
Shoaib Malik recently completed 13,000 T20 runs in a BPL match between Fortune Barishal and Rangpur Riders. He joined Chris Gayle on the elite list. During a game against the Khulna Tigers, Malik bowled three no-balls in the same over.
Last week, Malik celebrated his marriage with Sana Javed in Karachi. He uploaded his wedding pictures on X and wrote, “And we created you in pairs.”.
His previous marriage to famous Indian tennis star Sania Mirza lasted for 13 years. He was accused of cheating on Sania. Just a few days ago, Malik unfollowed Sania on social media platforms.
