The finals of the 2027 World Test Championship will be held in England

The finals of the 2027 World Test Championship will be held in England in the month of June. It will be the fourth consecutive time that England will host the WTC final; it staged the 2021 WTC final at Southampton, the 2023 final at The Oval, and the 2025 final at Lord’s.
On Friday, the International Cricket Council issued a Request for Proposal for a Social Responsibility Provider for the ICC for the period 2024-2027, which mentioned the countries and the time of the year when the ICC will stage its events.

After India suffered their second successive loss in the finals of the WTC, going down by 20-9 runs to Australia, their captain Rohit Sharma said that future finals should be played outside England and not necessarily be scheduled for June. Rohit had said, "Why after the IPL final? Why can't it be March? June is not the only month we should play the final. It can be played any time of the year and anywhere in the world, not just in England; it can be played anywhere in the world.”
