Team India won all nine of their matches they have played till now in the ongoing World Cup 2023. India defeated the Netherlands by 160 runs to make it nine-in-nine in the ICC World Cup 2023. While chasing a huge total of 411 runs in 50 overs, the Dutch were bowled out for 250 runs.
The highlight of the match was KL Rahul and Shreyas Iyer’s magnificent centuries in Bengaluru. Virat Kohli was told to bowl by captain Rohit Sharma, and he responded with a wicket from captain Scott Edwards.
Shreyas Iyer and Shubman Gill also bowled in the game. Even captain Rohit took a wicket. He dismissed Teja Nidamanuru, who scored 54 runs. Mohammed Siraj (2 wickets), Kuldeep Yadav (2 wickets), Jasprit Bumrah (2 wickets), and Ravindra Jadeja (2 wickets) were the pick of the bowlers.
Earlier, captain Rohit won the toss and elected to bat first in the last league match.
Iyer scored 128 runs off 94 balls, whereas Rahul scored 102 runs off 64 balls, Rohit scored 61 runs, Virat scored 51, and Gill scored 51 runs, as the team had a dream day with the bat. Logan van Beek conceded 107 runs in his 10 overs and went wicketless.
