This time, there is no room for excuses as Erratic Babar Azam & Co. face full strength Ireland

The Pakistan Cricket Team is gearing up its preparations for the T20 World Cup 2024 with a three-match T20I series against Ireland. The series will be held at Dublin’s Clontarf Cricket Club Ground. The series will begin on May 10 with the first match, then on May 12 with the second T20I, and on May 14 with the third T20I. All of the matches in the IRE vs. PAK T20I series will take place at the same venue.
Pakistan will play seven T20Is before travelling to the USA for the 2024 T20 World Cup. The new captain, Babar Azam, will look to get his first series win in his second tenure. However, it will not be easy. The Pakistan team has been dealing with a lot of issues within their team.
They have appointed a white-ball coach in the form of Gary Kirsten, but the South African is busy with IPL commitments and will not be available for the series. So Pakistan will be without a coach in the series.
The last T20I series Pakistan played was against New Zealand. It came at a time when most of the first-team players of the Black Caps were busy playing IPL. So the Kiwis named a second-string side for the series, and Pakistan had all their players available. Even then, they failed to defeat New Zealand, drawing 2-2 in the series.
