After playing an excellent knock against the arch-rivals Pakistan, Rohit went straight to Mumbai from Ahmedabad through a helicopter. After spending two days with family, the Indian captain opted to drive to Pune, which might turn out to be a little troublesome for Rohit.
According to a news agency, Rohit Sharma drove quite fast, as he drove above 200 km/h and even reached 215 km/h at times. As a result, three online traffic challans were issued to his vehicle’s number plate. As per the statement of a traffic department official, "the Indian captain driving at a high speed in the middle of a World Cup is not advisable. He should be traveling in a team bus with a police car with him.”
