Three complaints were filed against the Indian captain ahead of the IND vs. BAN clash

Indian captain Rohit Sharma has landed himself in some trouble after three challans were issued against Rohit for overspeeding in his blue Lamborghini while traveling from Mumbai to Pune. After playing an excellent knock against the arch-rivals Pakistan, Rohit went straight to Mumbai from Ahmedabad through a helicopter. After spending two days with family, the Indian captain opted to drive to Pune, which might turn out to be a little troublesome for Rohit.

According to a news agency, Rohit Sharma drove quite fast, as he drove above 200 km/h and even reached 215 km/h at times. As a result, three online traffic challans were issued to his vehicle’s number plate. As per the statement of a traffic department official, "the Indian captain driving at a high speed in the middle of a World Cup is not advisable. He should be traveling in a team bus with a police car with him.”
