To become the World's No. 1 batsman, Gill needs to do this....

The young batsman of Indian cricket team Shubhman Gill was in brilliant form in the last match of the Super 4 stage of the Asia Cup 2023 as he smashed a brilliant century against Bangladesh. Shubman has been getting starts and scoring half centuries every now and then in ODIs. If he stays in his amazing form, then this is going to be good for Team India during the ODI World Cup in 2023.
Gill has the golden chance to become the No. 1 batsman in the upcoming ODI series against Australia. The captain of Team Pakistan is currently the World No. 1 with 857 points. Shubman is second with 814. If Shubman scores 200 runs in the three ODIs against Australia, he will become World No. 1, surpassing Babar at the top.
Shubman has been picked for all three ODIs against Australia and is expected to feature in all three matches for India. He has become an all-format batsman for India in the last couple of years and has played 18 Tests, 33 ODIs, and 11 T20Is. His numbers in the ODI format have been the most impressive, as he has already smashed 1,739 runs in 33 matches at a staggering average of 64.41 with a strike rate of 102.05. He has also hit five tons and eight fifties. He also has an ODI double century to his name.
