Travis Head stuns RCB with blistering century as he smashed 102 runs in 41 balls

Australian player Travis Head who is playing his first IPL season stunned Royal Challengers Bangalore. He hit a century off just 39 balls, laced with 9 fours and 8 sixes to put the hosts on the backfoot. It is the fourth hundred of the Indian Premier League 2024 and also the fourth fastest in the history of the tournament.

He accumulated 102 off 41 balls before Lockie Ferguson took his wicket. The southpaw has been in sensational form for Sunrisers Hyderabad in the 17th season.

Head added 108 runs with Abhishek Sharma for the opening wicket. Abhishek struck 34 runs and the pair was together at the crease for 8.1 overs.

Travis’ stitched a 57-run partnership with Heinrich Klaasen, who is the most dangerous T20 batter at the moment. Heinrich Klaasen smashed 67 runs in merely 31 runs which also included 7 sixes.Sunrisers have won 3 games while losing two.
