Two former legends of cricket believe that Team India needs to play fearless cricket

Former player Nasser Hussain and former fast bowler Simon Doull believe that Team India plays ‘stats-driven’ cricket and needs to play a fearless brand in the knockout stages if it wants to win the ODI World Cup 2023.
According to former England captain Nasser Hussain, the squad of Team India is quite strong, but they will need to play "fearless cricket" in the knockout stages if they want to win the ODI World Cup. He also praised Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma as the greatest white-ball players ever.
Nasser said, "They are the favorites, but I will not call them the clear favorites just because of the number of quality sides there are in the tournament."
Whereas Simon Doull launched a vicious criticism of Indian batting, calling it "stats-driven cricket" and accusing them of being risk-averse, as he said, "Fearless cricket is their issue."
He further added, "They don’t play fearless cricket enough. They play statistics-driven cricket, and they are too worried about their stats too often. And to me, that is the one area I am concerned about their batting side."
