Anil Chaudhary talked about the moment when Rohit scored his double century against Sri Lanka and how effortlessly he was hitting sixes. He revealed that the balls which would be yorkers to other batters were the same deliveries that he was hitting out of the park.
Anil said in an interview, “He’s a naturally gifted batter, and has an excellent footwork and technique. He doesn’t get onto the front foot very early, and waits for the ball to come at him. He knows very well when to step down the track to play his shots. If you see his short arm pull, oh my god!”
“I remember in one match, I was the TV Umpire, and I think he scored a double hundred (talking about his 264 vs Sri Lanka). The way he was hitting sixes.
