Vice Captain of the Indian Women Cricket Team, Smriti Mandhana, reveals she fulfilled a dream her father couldn't.

Smriti Mandhana, who is the vice captain of the Indian women cricket team, recently went to the game show ‘Kuan Banega Crorepati’ and revealed that she is pursuing her father’s dream to play cricket.
Smriti and Ishan Kishan featured in KBC on Sunday, where she said that she has been listening to cricket since the time she was in her mother’s womb.
Smriti said on the show, “My father didn’t get permission to pursue cricket as a profession. So he wanted one of his kids to represent India. I’ve listened to cricket since my childhood, maybe since when I was in my mother’s womb.”
Smriti was part of the historic first-ever win against Australia on Sunday. They clinched the victory by eight wickets on the fourth day. She had scored 74 in the first inning to set the platform.
