Vikram Rathour Appointed as the Batting Coach of IPL Franchise Rajasthan Royals
On Friday September 20, the franchise of Indian Premier League owned by Royals Sports group announced the appointment of VikramRathour as the Batting coach of the team.
Shortly after the Franchise welcomed Rahul Dravid as the head coach of the team VikramRathourwho isa cricket professional joins the franchise. Both of them will reignite their successful partnership which tookteam India to the top of the rankings in all the three formats of the game. During their tenure they also led the country to the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2024 title.
Having played six Tests and seven ODIs for India before transitioning into a highly respected coaching role. He is well known for his technical acumen, as he also served as the Batting Coach of team India from 2019 to 2023, playing a key role in shaping the performances of emerging Indian batters.
While welcoming Rathour to the franchise, Rahul Dravid who is the Head Coach of the franchise said, “Having worked closely with Vikram for many years, I can confidently say that his technical expertise, calm demeanour, and deep understanding of Indian conditions make him a perfect fit for the Royals” and so on.
