During the ODI World Cup encounter against New Zealand in Dharamsala on Sunday, former India skipper Virat Kohli added another feather to his cap by reaching 3000 runs in ICC white-ball events.Kohli became the first batter in history to surpass the 3,000 run mark in ICC World Cups (ODI & T20I) after surpassing former West Indies captain Chris Gayle's record of 2,942 runs.At the HPCA in Dharamsala, Kohli then reached his 69th fifty in an ODI to spearhead India's pursuit of 274. Additionally, he overtook captain Rohit Sharma to secure the title of World Cup's highest run scorer.
