The star Indian batsman has taken the title of the most searched personality in Asia, as per a report by Google Trends. Kohli took over the famous Korean pop group BTS V, which was leading the chart for the first half of the year. He surpassed BTS members Jung Kook and V and claimed the number-one spot. He also surpassed Bollywood actress Katrina Kaif, who was the most searched Asian personality of the year 2022.
This news has come as a cherry on top for the batsman after the team India was crowned the champions of the Asia Cup 2023. The Men in Blue had a brilliant campaign in the tournament, as they just lost one match and performed well in every aspect.
