Virat Kohli committed To Test Cricket Career as Delhi coach hints at Ranji Trophy participation next season

Virat Kohli remains committed to continuing his Test cricket career for India despite recent struggles, including a disappointing series in Australia. His performance has raised questions, but he has not indicated any intention to retire from red-ball cricket. Delhi's head coach, Sarandeep Singh, confirmed that Kohli wishes to represent his state in the coming years, emphasizing his commitment to domestic cricket as mandated by the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI).

Kohli has faced challenges with a busy international schedule, which complicates his participation in domestic matches. Although he has retired from T20 internationals, he still plays for the Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) in the IPL, leaving limited opportunities for him to play for Delhi. Singh noted that while Kohli loves domestic cricket, balancing it with international commitments and the need for rest makes his participation uncertain.

As India prepares for a challenging tour of England later this year, Kohli's future will depend on his ability to regain form and make time for domestic cricket amidst a hectic schedule.
