Virat Kohli’s Six to Haris Rauf Gets Rewarded as ‘Shot of the Century’
The premium batsman of Team India, Virat Kohli, is in sensational form in the ongoing World Cup. The right-handed batter recently leveled with Sachin Tendulkar for most ODI centuries. Meanwhile, Virat Kohli recently added another feather in his hat as his six to Haris Rauf in the last T20 World Cup was named ‘Shot of the Century’ by the ICC.

“Celebrate Virat Kohli’s birthday with a look back at his top 10 moments in ICC tournaments,” wrote ICC as the sport’s global body shared a montage of exclusive Kohli footage. It featured some of the most iconic moments in ICC events, including sixes, celebrations, and even that ‘Spirit of Cricket Moment’.
The pick of the lot was a six off Pakistan pacer Haris Rauf at Melbourne Cricket Ground in 2022, a shot which ICC hailed as the ‘Shot of the Century’.
Meanwhile, Virat Kohli will be eyeing his 50th ODI hundred. To note, India is set to take on the Netherlands next. This will be India’s final group-stage match of the World Cup. After that, Rohit Sharma and Co. will gear up for the semi-finals of the marquee event.
