Wasim Akram says, “India looks good even without Hardik Pandya; it is difficult to drop Mohammed Shami”

Wasim Akram feels that the Indian cricket team is looking good even without the star all-rounder Hardik Pandya in their lineup, and it is going to be quite difficult to drop Mohammed Shami after his brilliant performance against New Zealand.
Shami gave an exceptional performance against New Zealand in the ICC Men's ODI World Cup 2023. Despite being benched for the first four games of the tournament, Shami seized his opportunity when all-rounder Hardik Pandya was unable to play due to injury.
While speaking, Akram said India does look good even without Hardik and that it would be difficult to drop Shami now. The Pakistani legend also said that India shouldn't risk Hardik against England and should let him recover completely.
Akram said, "This squad looks good even without Pandya. If he is fit, then well and good. It will be difficult to drop Shami now. I feel India shouldn't risk Pandya against England because if it's an injury to a hamstring or quad, then although you feel good initially, you could pull a muscle in the match. So let him recover 100 percent, and then you can play him.”
Akram praised the management of Team India for keeping the players ready for each match, as in the case of Shami.
