Watch: During the convocation ceremony, a fan proudly unfurls a red and gold jersey
Recently, an Indian student at a US university marked the occasion of his convocation with style by expressing his loyalty to his favourite IPL team. In a video that has gone viral on social media, an Indian student can be seen proudly lifting up Royal Challengers Bengaluru’s jersey on stage while being felicitated in the convocation ceremony.
An Indian student from a university in California was obviously elated with RCB qualifying for the IPL 2024 playoff stage. He decided to show his love for the team by making RCB a part of his convocation process.

The student can be seen holding the RCB jersey up in the video while the convocator completes the formalities. This is not a rare sight nowadays, though, with a girl doing a similar gesture a few weeks ago in the USA. While passion for the game runs deep among Indians, they are now taking it a notch higher by including it during achievements in other walks of life as well.
