Facing Pakistan spinner Noman Ali, Stokes attempted an aggressive shot to clear the boundary but misjudged it badly. As he swung for a six, he lost control of his bat, which went flying into the air. Simultaneously, Stokes lost his balance and ended up outside his crease, allowing wicketkeeper Mohammad Rizwan to quickly stump him.
