Watch: Heartfelt Thank You of Yuvraj Singh to Sand Artist on the 16th Anniversary of Six Sixes

16 years from now, on this day, Yuvraj Singh took the inaugural edition of T20 by storm as he smashed six sixes in a single over against Stuart Broad. During the 21st match of the 2007 World Cup edition, India took on England in a must-win encounter at Kingsmead in Durban. The flamboyant left-handed batter turned on his beast mode after engaging in a heated on-field altercation with English all-rounder Andrew Flintoff. He went on to notch up the fastest T20I fifty in the space of just 12 balls, powering India to a convincing victory over England by a margin of 18 runs.

To celebrate the 16th anniversary of his rare feat, a sand artist composed a very beautiful video clip that encompassed the background music of that game 16 years ago. Yuvraj was thoroughly elated by this gesture and appreciated his work to the fullest.

On his official Instagram account, Yuvraj posted the video created by the sand artist to commemorate the 16th anniversary of this swashbuckling event and also thanked him for his adorable gesture with the caption, "Thank you for this lovely sand art, @christy_sandartist12. Even though you created this for my birthday, today is also an apt occasion for me to share it."

Yuvraj finished that tournament on a high with 148 runs under his belt and a killer strike rate of 194.74.
