The all-rounder of Pakistan cricket team Iftikhar Ahmed got angry at a fan who called him 'chachu' during the second T20I against New Zealand in Hamilton on Sunday. Notably, Iftikhar's nickname is 'chachu' (uncle), which was given to him by Babar Azam. He has been often referred to as 'chachu' by his teammates and fans of cricket. However, Iftikhar wasn't happy with a fan calling him by the same name while he was fielding near the boundary at Seddon Park. The players asked the fan not to call him 'chachu', to which the fan replied, saying that he is a fan of him.
Iftikhar was heard saying in a viral video, “Khamoshrahein (Keep quiet).

However, Iftikhar later clicked a selfie with the same fan. Coming back to the match, New Zealand defeated Pakistan by 21 runs to go 2-0 up in the five-match series.
However, New Zealand's defeat came at the expense of Kane Williamson's injury, with the former captain set to be ruled out for the remainder of the series.
