Watch: Pakistan Duo Produces Rare Sight In Cricket By Running 4

In a unique moment during the first Test between Pakistan and Bangladesh, the batting pair of Saud Shakeel and Mohammad Rizwan showcased their running prowess. Despite the best efforts of the Bangladeshi fielders, Shakeel managed to nudge a ball towards mid-off, forcing the fielders to scramble to prevent a boundary.

Shoriful Aslam, stationed at mid-off, managed to intercept the ball but was unable to stop it from reaching the boundary. With remarkable agility, Shakeel and Rizwan completed four runs, a rare sight in Test cricket where boundaries are often the primary source of runs. This display of running between the wickets highlighted the skill and determination of the Pakistani batsmen.

Here’s the video

After hitting Sharful’s hand the ball stopped near the long-off boundary, prompting Najmul Hossain Shanto to hunt it down. Shanto had to run from the mid-on region all the way to the boundary down the ground to pick up the ball, hence giving the batters ample time to run four.

The non-striker Mohammad Rizwan seemed to be quite tired at the end of the act, and threw his gloves and bat on the ground to let himself catch his breath.
