Watch: Players of South Africa Cricket Team struggle to pronounce Thiruvananthapuram

The South Africa cricket team has arrived in India with a motive to win the World Cup 2023 for the first time in history, while a video went viral on social media platforms where the players of the South Africa cricket team are struggling to pronounce Thiruvananthapuram. A clip of the same was also shared by senior leader of Congress Shashi Tharoor on his ‘X’ account on Sunday.

Temba Bavuma and Co. are currently in Thiruvananthapuram as they are going to take on New Zealand in their second warm-up match of the competition. Earlier, their first match against Afghanistan was abandoned due to the rain. On the other hand, the Kiwis are coming to the match after defeating Pakistan. The warm-up match between SA and NZ will be played on October 2 at the Greenfield International Stadium.
It must be mentioned that South Africa has never won a World Cup and last reached the semi-finals in the 2015 edition. They look to win their maiden title this year with a skilled and experienced squad. South Africa was the second to announce its World Cup squad after India on September 5.
