For the upcoming three-match ODI series against Sri Lanka, the two mega stars of Indian cricket, ViratKohli and Rohit Sharma, are back in the team. After a gap of one month, both of them will be playing an international match. Virat and Rohit called time on their T20I careers after India’s 2024 T20 World Cup triumph, but the duo remain available for the ODI and Test formats. The first ODI of team India against Sri Lanka will take place at R Premadasa Stadium in Colombo on August 2.
Ahead of the opening ODI game, the Indian players trained at the venue, and ViratKohli and Rohit Sharma stole the limelight with some sensational batting in nets. As both Virat and Rohit were smashing bowlers for fun, India’s new head coach GautamGambhir kept a keen eye on their practice.
